Amelia is a London-based writer who recently completed an MA in Screenwriting at the National Film and Television School. She started her career in advertising production, co-running a small commercials production company and it was during this time, working with publishers to adapt novels into promotional short films, that she discovered a love of screenwriting.
Whilst at the NFTS she has been developing a number of original TV and feature projects including SALTWATER and SHORE, as well as MY BEAUTIFUL RADIUM, which she is currently developing with producer Sabina Smitham and Pia Pressure. She is also currently developing a number of original projects for television, including HEADCASE with Drama Republic, and a feature film entitled BULLY with Pia Pressure and director Lewis Arnold. She has also worked on a number of short films including PAUL (Dir. Jamie Childs), DEAD BIRDS (Dir. Johnny Kenton), THE LIGHT REFRACTS INTO THE SHADOWS (Dir. Kevin Yeh) and BLOOD TYPE (Dir. Jeongmin Lee).
